Our projects
Three things we built, and then stopped charging for.
Each one solves a problem we watched somebody actually have. Each one is live right now, free to use in full, and funded the same way — by advertising where it belongs, and by people who chose to donate. Nothing below is a demo, a beta, or a teaser for a paid version.
Project 01 — Education
Taxi Exam
taxi-exam.online ↗A complete practice platform for Croatia's taxi driver licensing exam. Getting licensed is a real cost for someone about to start earning as a driver — the exam fee, the time off, and the risk of failing it twice. Commercial prep courses charge for what is, in the end, a question bank. We published ours for nothing.
- Every official question, images included. All 221 exam questions across 11 topic areas, with the 36 picture-based questions reproduced properly rather than described.
- Six ways to practise. Full exam in order, randomised order, wrong-answers-only, a smart review that surfaces your weakest material, targeted weak-topic drilling, or a topic-by-topic selection.
- A realistic exam simulation. 35 questions in 20 minutes with a 31/35 pass mark — the real conditions, so the real thing holds no surprises.
- Tools that keep you coming back. Flashcards, a daily challenge, a head-to-head challenge mode, a Zagreb geography section, badges, a hardest-questions list and a mistakes notebook.
- Progress you can see. Full exam history, a score-trend chart and a per-topic progress breakdown, so you know when you're actually ready instead of guessing.
- Bilingual throughout. The whole platform runs in Croatian or English — useful for drivers who are new to the country and sitting the exam in a second language.
Project 02 — Everyday tools
Vehxia
vehxia.com ↗A maintenance logbook for every vehicle you own. Most people track servicing in a glovebox folder, a notes app, or not at all — and then lose hundreds at resale because they can't prove the car was looked after. Vehxia turns that scattered history into a schedule that reminds you, and a document that convinces a buyer.
- A service schedule that does the maths. Oil, timing belt or chain, brake fluid, antifreeze and inspection, each tracked on whichever comes first — distance or time. Electric vehicles automatically drop the items that don't apply.
- Mileage it works out for itself. Tell it roughly how far you drive a day and it projects your odometer forward, so distance-based reminders stay accurate without you logging in to update anything.
- Email reminders before things fall due. Choose how far ahead you want warning — 7 to 90 days — and whether each item arrives as it comes due or as a single weekly summary.
- Fuel and running costs. Log fill-ups to get consumption in L/100km or MPG, cost per kilometre, and a year-by-year spending breakdown across fuel, servicing, modifications and bodywork.
- Documents that expire, tracked. Registration, insurance and technical inspection each with their own date, status and reminder — plus room for anything else with a renewal date.
- A buyer-ready record at the end. Export a clean PDF with the full service history, running costs and document status. Or send a live read-only link a buyer can open without installing anything — revocable the moment the car sells.
- Hand the logbook over with the car. Transfer a vehicle and its entire history to the new owner's email. They don't even need an account yet; it waits for them.
- Your data stays yours. It lives in your browser and works with no connection at all. Accounts and cloud backup are optional extras, and you can export everything as JSON or CSV — or delete the account outright — from inside the app.
Project 03 — Free content
TheTheme.Store
thetheme.store ↗A library of 60 website templates and platform themes, given away. Template marketplaces charge per download or put anything decent behind a paywall — which mostly penalises students, hobby projects and small businesses building their first site. We built a proper library and set the price to nothing.
- 30 standalone web templates. HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery and Bootstrap layouts across Gaming (15), News & Tech (5), Web Hosting (5) and CMS & Admin (5) — each one a distinct, hand-built design, not one skeleton recoloured thirty times.
- 20 real WordPress themes. Ten for blogs and business sites, ten more built for WordPress + WooCommerce shops. Genuine installable theme packages, not screenshots of one.
- 10 real OpenCart themes. Proper OpenCart 4.x theme packages for anyone running a store on that platform.
- Honest previews. Every template can be opened live in the browser before you download, and each screenshot is captured from the real thing rather than mocked up in a design tool.
- Three clicks, no friction. Browse or search, preview, download the ready-to-edit .zip. No registration, no email address, no payment step, no "check your inbox".
- Free for commercial work too. Use them on client projects and your own business. The only thing we ask is that you don't repackage the library and sell it as your own.
What's next
The fourth project depends on the first three.
We're always working on the next one, and the rule doesn't change: it has to solve a real problem for a real group of people, and it has to be free to them. What decides how quickly it arrives is simply whether the existing three cover their own costs — which is what the ads and the donations are for.
